North Anston: Bronze Mark cycling award for Greenlands School

Greenlands School in North Anston has become one of the first schools in Rotherham to be awarded the Sustrans Bronze School Mark Award for its outstanding commitment to cycling.

Sustrans schools officer Natalie Whelan presented the award to congratulate children, parents and teachers for their efforts in increasing pupils cycling levels.

She said: “It is fantastic to see the school doing so much to help kids cycle confidently and safely.”

Greenlands head teacher Anne Jones added: “We are very proud to be receiving this award, it’s very much a community effort.”
