No jail for drug dealer

A WOMAN who dealt drugs from her Manton home has been spared an immediate prison sentence.

Christine Dwyer was under emotional pressure from her ex, Notts Crown Court was told.

The 32 year-old, of Rushey Close, was given nine months suspended for 18 months on Friday, with 150 hours unpaid work.

She will also be under probation supervision for a year.

She pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to supplying amphetamine between 22nd and 28th May and possession of the class B drug with intent to supply on 27th May.

She had already admitted similar offences during March.

Her barrister Michael Evans said her partner of 13 years had become her ex earlier this year, ‘but he retained a hold over her’.
