WHITWELL Local History Group: On 29th January, Mr Malcolm Walpole gave an illustrated talk on his last “excursion” to India. With appropriate backing music he showed wonderful pictures of, how he described it, the best wildlife in the World. He began his trip in Bujarat in the west and travelled to the east of India, close to the border with Pakistan, taking pictures of the animals, birds and wonderful ornate buildings of this part of India. The talk on 12th February will be given by Cynthia Else and her subject will be Stained Glass.
