LIMESTONE House: The Championship Section Skelmanthorpe Brass Band, from the Huddersfield area, are making a return visit to Creswell Social Centre to give a concert on Sunday 16th September at the invitation of the Elmton & Creswell Village Company. The concert starts at 2.30pm in the Creswell Social Centre and the bar will be open at 1.30pm. Tickets are available from Limestone House and the Social Centre, also on the door on the day.

WELBECK Sailing Club: The Olympic sailing may be over, but the friendly competition still continues down at Welbeck Sailing Club. Exceptionally light airs on Sunday lead to two protracted races with avoiding the doldrums being the key to victory. With only one week remaining it was the series leaders who both managed to win a race, thus extending their advantage over the rest of the fleet.
