ST JAMES’ Church: On Sunday 19th February, Sung Eucharist was celebrated by Rev D. Hull. The organist was J. Whybrow, the servers E. Anderson & I. Stables, the chalice-bearers B. Anderson & G. Naylor, the elements were brought forward by V. & C. Sanderson, the lessons were read by R. Whybrow, the prayers were led by P. Hall and the sidespeople were K. Wilby & J. Newbould. Evensong was held at 6pm. On Ash Wednesday 22nd February, Eucharist, including the Imposition of Ashes, was celebrated by the rector assisted by the Rev D. Hull.

LIMESTONE House: A Knitting Club meets in Limestone House on Mondays from 10am and the members of the Genealogy Club continue to meet from 10am–12noon. Two new clubs will begin in March, the 100+ Club for new members of the 100+ Club who will pay £1 a week to Limestone House for a weekly, summer and Christmas draw and a small part of their contribution will assist the sustainability of the Village Company. A monthly Book Club will begin on Wednesday 28th March, meeting in the Heritage Centre at 1.30-2.30pm.
