ROADRUNNERS: Andy Ward was in top form once again as he won the rearranged Percy Pud 10k in Sheffield, his winning time was 31-16.

Others runners taking part were Paul Sadler 41-24 and Graham Shawcroft 47-49.

Intercessions were by Mary Sturton and Wayne Brown played the organ at the service conducted by Lynne Parker.

Astronomical Society: The next meeting will be our Quiz Night on Wednesday 22nd December.

Visibilities over the Christmas break will be described: Venus and Saturn before sunrise, Jupiter and Uranus after sunset; on Tuesday 4th January a solar eclipse and the Quadrantid meteors and Jupiter and Uranus together, all on the same night.
