New play park to open at Clumber

WORKSOP’S Clumber Park is set to see the opening of a new children’s play area on Monday.

The National Trust’s Clumber Park is opening an exciting new Play Centre, The Burrow, on Monday 13th August.

Kids aged from 0 – 3s can enjoy soft play including a small ball pool, wobbly pirate, lion rocker, small steps and more, all inside a secure fenced area.

Older children aged from 3 – 6 years can get creative with painting easels, splash about with the sand and water tables, and get active with hoola hoops and space hoppers.

Refreshments including hot and cold drinks, snacks and sandwiches will also be available for guardians.

Operations Manager Jacqui Roebuck says: “We are delighted to announce the opening of our latest play facility, The Burrows.”

“It’s free to use and offers our much younger visitors a chance to enjoy some indoor fun and compliments our existing outdoors woodland play park.”
