The £24,000 project to transform Harthill village hall has been unveiled to the public.

About 60 people turned up to the opening and they got the chance to see how the building has been improved, which was met with an overwhelming response.

Work to the village hall started on the 4th of June to the former Miners’ Welfare building, which dates back to 1920.

A new suspended ceiling has been added and the main hall has been redecorated.
