These dramatic scenes were captured on film as the outside of a Birmingham cinema exploded into flames.
Crowds gathered at the city's ‘golden mile’ as hundreds were evacuated from the Cineworld, Broad Street, and nearby Nando’s restaurant.
The fire which was located above the eaterie, took hold shortly before 6pm on Sunday (December 6).
Flames appeared to be spreading from a sign on the side of the building on Bishopsgate Street.
A Cineworld Spokesperson said: "Cineworld Broad Street was temporarily evacuated on Sunday 6th December due to a fire on the outside of the building.
"West Midlands Fire Service attended and the fire has now been extinguished. We would like to thank the emergency services for their quick response. The cinema has now reopened."
