NAME AND SHAME: Court results for Worksop and Retford

ASSAULT

Bobbie Burton, 28, of Queen Elizabeth Crescent, Worksop. Assaulted a man. Community order made and pay £50 compensation.

David Jones, 45, of Sherwood Road, Harworth. Assaulted a woman by beating her. Community order made, carry out 100 hours of unpaid work, £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

MOTORING

Ruth Lane, 37, of Prince Charles Road, Worksop. Drove a vehicle after consuming 64 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £300, £30 victim surcharge and disqualified from holding a driving licence for 18 months.

William Wright, 33, of Skewer Farm, Carlton in Lindrick. Driving while using a hand held mobile phone. Fined £70, £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs and licence endorsed with three points.

Michael Lambert, 38, of Windermere Avenue, Harworth. Drove a vehicle after consuming alcohol which proceeded the legal limit. Committed to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months, £115 victim surcharge, £85 costs and disqualified from holding a driving licence for 36 months.

Mark Woodhouse, 50, of Prince Charles Road, Worksop. Drove a vehicle after consuming 88 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Committed to prison for 18 weeks, suspended for 12 months, £115 victim surcharge, £85 costs and disqualified from holding a driving licence for 46 months.

DRUGS

Bartosz Styrylski, 22, of Cheapside, Worksop. Possession of class A drugs and the pepper spray, Mace. Committed to prison for a total of 16 weeks.

FRAUD

Michelle Croft, 41, of Shrewsbury Road, Worksop. Failed to inform the council her partner had undertaken work in order to make a gain, namely payment of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit. Community order made, be under curfew for six months from 6pm and 6am, £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

DAMAGE

Lewis Hancock, 21, of Saint Pauls Road, Worksop. Damaged a door. Discharged conditionally for six months, £100 compensation and £85 costs.

OTHER

Paul Deveraux, 49, of Williams Street, Langold. Dog was dangerously out of control and it injured one person. Fined £280, £506.91 compensation and £85 costs.
