Murder charge trio remanded in custody

THREE people have been remanded in custody after they appeared in court charged with the murder of a man found on farmland in Everton.

The body of Alan James Easton, 50, of Dunbartonshire, Scotland, was discovered by a member of the public on Saturday 2nd February 2013.

Angela Downing, 47, and Stephen Schofield, 31, of Windmill Avenue, Conisborough and Matthew Duffy, 22, of Sussex Street, Doncaster, appeared at Nottingham Crown Court on Monday 11th February.

Judge John Milmo adjourned the case to 3rd June when the trio are expected to enter their pleas.

All three defendants were remanded in custody.
