Motorcyclist’s inquest is opened

The inquest into the death of a Retford motorcyclist who died near Clumber Park was opened and adjourned last week.

Mark Richard Stacey, 42, of Moorgate, died when the Triumph Daytona motorbike he was riding collided with a Blue Ford Mondeo on the A614 at about 9.45am on 25th February.

Mr Stacey, a married refuse disposal operative, died at the scene.

The precise medical cause of death is not yet known. The man driving the Mondeo and a female passenger in the car, were uninjured in the collision.

The inquest at Notts Coroner’s Court was opened and adjourned on Thursday 1st March.
