Money raised for H4H

The twin of a seriously injured soldier raised £515 by completing a 10K assault course for charity.

Tom Gibbons, 22, took part in the Total Warrior event in Kendal in the Lake District to raise money for Help for Heroes (H4H).

His twin brother Nicholas lost a leg while on tour in Afghanistan in 2008.

H4H county co-ordinator Tony Eaton said: “People of Worksop help massively and I would like to thank everyone for raising money.”

A new recovery centre in Catterick is being built by H4H to help soldiers out of action.

H4H supports injured ex servicemen and women for the duaration of their life in all areas of their life, including financially.
