Starting at the old school site, Misterton, or the local pub of your choice at 12noon, participants can cycle a 10 or 15-mile circuit in a clockwise direction and raise money for whichever charity they choose.

A number of businesses will provide refreshments for children, who are taking part, including the Dovecote Café in Misterton.

From the old school and Dovecote Cafe, the route takes in Misterton Sports Social Club, Fox and Hounds in Walkeringham, Three Horse Shoes in Walkeringham, and Brickmakers Arms in Walkeringham.

Serious cyclists can then head up the hill to Gringley to the Blue Bell then return to the Red Hart in Misterton.

The route then takes in White House Farm and Haxey Gate Inn before heading to West Stockwith to the White Hart, the Waterfront, Waterfront Country Park, West Stockwith Yacht Club, and heading back to Misterton.

Sponsor forms are available from your local pub or Dougie on 890123 or 07808 187575 for further information before the event.

All children must be supervised and cyclists must observe road safety and try to wear a helmet. Trevor Halstead of Gainsborough Cycles, will travel round the route and assist anyone in difficulty.
