Metal theft warnings after radiators are stolen

Police are calling on residents to prevent metal thefts by leaving scrap on show outside their homes.

The warning comes after three radiators were left outside a property on Selston’s Inkerman Street, and later stolen.

It happened on Monday, February 15 before 1.30pm.

A police spokesman said: “There have incidents where scrap metal has been taken from people’s gardens, land or from outbuildings.

“Ensure that metal is locked away, taken to a scrap dealer or disposed of at a recycling centre.
