The Met Office has sounded another warning of snow for the East Midlands.
The latest yellow ‘be aware’ alert for Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire is valid from 6pm tonight until 10am tomorrow.
A Met Office spokesman said: “Further heavy, wintry showers are expected overnight Monday and into Tuesday.
“The public are advised to be aware of tricky travel conditions generally and possible disruption to transport.
“Problems should reduce steadily into Tuesday morning as the March sunshine gets to work on melting the snow.”
Snow has been falling across parts of the region this morning.
