Men in court over Dinnington axe robbery bid

A MAN who is alleged to have held up a Dinnington shop with an axe appeared at court this morning (Monday).

John Galloway was charged with robbery after an incident at NA Dungworth Audiovision on Laughton Road on 11th August.

The 30-year-old of Laughton Road appeared via video link at Sheffield Crown Court.

Phillip Galloway, 27, of Manor Road, Dinnington also appeared charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.

Both men are to appear in court again on 5th November, with a trial set to take place on 18th December. The pair were remanded in custody.
