Memorial for medal holders
ROTHERHAM’S three holders of the Victoria Cross are now commemorated in a new permanent memorial in the town.
The names of George William Chafer of Bramley, Thomas Norman Jackson of Swinton and Ian John McKay have been engraved onto new fountain pool within Clifton Park’s Memorial Garden.
