Matthew joins county's Duke of Edinburgh Award roll of honour
Cadet Sergeant Matthew Frost, 17, is one of 142 cadets across the county have completed the development programme based on four key values of volunteering, physical, skills and expedition.
Cadets have to take part in a host of activities and challenges to pass with recent expeditions including walks in the likes of the Peak District and Sherwood Forest.

Hide AdCdt Sgt Frost said: “DofE has taught me a lot about navigation, teamwork, resilience and left me with memories I will never forget.
“I have been given the opportunity to go places I wouldn’t have been otherwise.
“I hope to continue hiking, camping and backpacking long after I have completed DofE.”
Lieutenant James van Oppen, ACF’S DofE advisor, added: “I am extremely proud of the effort our participants are puttin in and I am especially pleased to see them volunteering in their cadet and wider communities.
“It is a joy to work with the growing team of supportive adult volunteers in the East Midlands who mentor and supervise our groups.”
