Master Kim returns to Retford to lead special martial arts seminar

The Lynx Black Belt Leadership Academy in Retford played host to a special seminar with Master Kim Yong Ho, president of the World Mudo Academy.

Lynx Academy coaches were honoured to host the seminar, which brought together students of the Mudo Academy of Great Britain & Chungdokwon UK.

Master Kim travelled into the UK after teaching in India and Paris to educate local Retford martial arts students.

The seminar was attended by all ages and capacities, who were able to learn from this remarkable man, who was making his second visit to Retford.

The previous time, he presented a Korean scroll to Bassetlaw Council which is now hanging on the wall at Retford Town Hall.

Master Andrew Blinston, head coach at the Lynx Academy, who helped organise the event, commented: “ We were incredibly fortunate to have Master Kim sharing his knowledge and experience with us.

“We are truly humbled to have such an auspicious figure taking time to visit the area and inspire us with his knowledge and enthusiasm

“Many thanks again to Master Kim for his time and effort.

“This is second time he has visited Bassetlaw and conducted a seminar for our students.
