Mansfield swimming star Rebecca Adlington to continue in TV ski jump show despite crash
Her place in the competition was in doubt after her 8.85 metre “air jump” went disastrously wrong and she had to be carried away on a stretcher with a dislocated shoulder.
But according to a Channel 4 spokesman, after being seen by the medics and visiting the hospital she was cleared to continue in the competition.

“It was hard to tell at first what had happened, but it was clear she needed to go to hospital.
“Doctors there spent hours assessing her condition, doing X-rays and other checks to work out exactly how bad the damage was.”
