Man in court for fraud and burglary

A father-to-be has been charged with cashing a stolen cheque and burgling a restaurant.

Christopher Bowles, 36, of Cherry Brook, Rotherham,is alleged to have cashed the cheque, worth £72, in Worksop on 31st January.

Bowles is also alleged to have entered The Mussel and Crab, in Tuxford, as a trespasser on 14th February and stolen three bottles of wine and a bottle of Cointreau.

On 17th Feburary, Bowles is accused of having articles - gloves, torch, screwdriver, hammer and crowbar - for use in connection with a burglary

Bowles appeared at Worksop Magistrates’ Court last week. The case was adjourned until Thursday 4th April.
