Man fighting for life after Worksop collision

Nottinghamshire Police said the man remains in a serious condition in hospital after he lost control of his car in Worksop before crashing through a garden fence and hitting a tree.
The incident occurred on the B6045 Carlton Road at around 11.55pm on Thursday night.

Hide AdThe driver, a man aged in his 30s, suffered injuries including a broken neck, fractured skull and punctured lungs but a female passenger was uninjured.
No other vehicles are believed to have been involved.
A police investigation is underway to establish the circumstances of the incident and events leading up to the collision.
Detective Constable Sarah Stables, of Nottinghamshire Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "We believe a tall man with a ginger beard was walking past around the time of the crash and we'd urge him to get in touch with us as soon as possible as he may have key information which could assist us with our investigation.
