Man dies after crash near Cottam Power Station

One car collided near to the power station at around 11.50pm on Saturday, April 15.

The driver died at the scene and four passengers were taken to the Northern General Hospital in Sheffield with varying injuries.

Road closures were in place on Outgang Lane and Cottam Road and Serious Collision Investigators attended the scene.

The driver’s family have asked for privacy at this time.
