Man denies rape charge
A 25-year-old Retford man accused of raping a woman is due to stand trial later this month.
Scott Wells, of Rufford Avenue, pleaded not guilty at Nottingham Crown Court on 9th November to the alleged offence on 12th August.
The trial has been fixed for 21st November and is expected to last three days. Recorder Gregory Dickinson further remanded the defendant in custody until that date.
An interim hearing may be held on 18th November to monitor the progress of the case.
