Man charged with attempted murder near Mansfield
A man accused of attempted murder is due to appear at crown court next month.
Antony Queenan, 56, of no fixed address is accused of trying to murder a female at Chesterfield Road North in Pleasley on March 7.
He recently appeared at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court, no plea was entered and the case was sent to Nottingham Crown Court.
He will appear on April 6 for a pre-hearing conference and was kept on remand until his appearance, which is expected to be done via videolink.
