Nottinghamshire Police were called to Church Street at around 9am on Wednesday, November 7, to reports that a man had been attacked in his own home, threatened with a hammer, and tied up before several items were stolen.

Adam North, 32, of Charlton-in-Lindrick have been arrested and charged with burglary, intent to commit greivous bodily harm, theft of a motor vehicle and driving while disqualified.

He’s been remanded in custody and due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 7 December.
