Benjamin Stewart, 35, of Costhorpe Villas admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour on 19th February.

Prosecutor Ruth Snowdin told Worksop Magistrates’ Court that Stewart pushed into two men working at a stall and swore at them, then barged into a shopper. He told police in an interview that he had drunk vodka and not taken his medication following an altercation with a man on a mental health ward, where he is a voluntary patient, but could not remember the Priory incident.

Magistrates also gave him a 12 month community order.
