Man admits to damage

a WORKSOP man broke a kitchen door and window in a row over money, a court heard.

Steven Ashley Crooks, 26, of Waverley Place, admitted criminal damage at Worksop Magistrates Court on Thursday.

The court heard he went to the house on Lincoln View to collect money he was owed.

When the person wouldn’t open the door Crooks threw a brick through the window, smashing it.

David Grant, defending, said he had acted in ‘frustration’ when he could get no answer to get the money he said he was owed.

Crooks was ordered to pay £350 compensation for the damage and £35 costs.
