Man admits historic sex offences against young girls but denies other charges

A 43-year-old man has pleaded guilty to three counts of historic sex offences against girls under the age of 13 but denies seven other charges.

Jason Garside, of Thicket Drive, Maltby, admitted guilt on two counts of indecent assault and one count of gross indecency with a child.

Garside pleaded not guilty to two counts of rape and five more counts of indecent assault against two girls on four separate occasions, at a hearing at Sheffield Crown Court.

All charges relate to a period between 1989 to 1994 in the village of Stainton.
