The Rotary Club of Lincoln Colonia will set up a giant flume in Flaxengate, Lincoln, on Sunday 12th July.

Participants will slide at an average speed of over 11mph down a 90m long tarpaulin slide, dowsed with soapy water, on an inflatable li-lo.

As well as being great fun the flume will also be helping to raise money for Linkage, a Lincolnshire based charity which helps people with learning difficulties find employment or learn new skills through it’s education program.

To be in with a chance of riding the flume you need to visit www.lincolnflume.co.uk and make a £3 donation and enter yourself into the draw.

Last year, 360 ticket holders were picked from nearly 100,000 applicants to ride the 90m slide in Bristol which is where the inspiration for the Lincoln flume came from.
