The district council elections results were announced on Friday 8th May with the Conservatives retaining control of West Lindsey.

Gainsborough North: Conservative, Gillian Bardsley, 1,047 (elected), Sheila Bibb, 764 (elected) and Liberal Democrats, Matthew Boles, 964 (elected), Labour 691, Labour 623, Labour 689, Liberal Democrats 549, Liberal Democrats 555 and Conservative 710.
