And the nine-year-old is doing everything she can to make it a reality.

For someone of such a young age, she has already achieved so much.

She has featured on BBC drama The Child in Time, an adaptation of the 1987 novel by Ian McEwan starring Benedict Cumberbatch, been in a Unicef advert and is waiting to find out if she has made the cut for the upcoming film Johnny English Strikes Again with Rowan Atkinson.

Pretty impressive for someone who only signed up to a model and casting agency, Bonnie and Betty, about a year ago.

Emily’s mum, Katie, 38, of Linnet Way, Clowne, said: “I am very proud of her. She absolutely loves it. She loves singing and dancing. She is bubbly, friendly and outgoing.”

When asked what her favourite part of acting is, the Clowne Junior School pupil, replied: “Making new friends.”

Every night in the Askew household is a hectic one for mum Katie and her husband Steve, 44.

After finishing work as an engineer resource co-ordinator at BT, devoted mum Katie is busy taking Emily and her younger sister, Isabelle, five, to various different classes including gymnastics, swimming and dancing.

Emily is currently waiting to find out if she will be featured in the new Johnny English film, due to be released this October.

She has been part of the filming, but won’t find out if the scene she is involved in will make the final production.

Katie said: “She got to meet Rowan Atkinson and he was exactly how he is in the films – really funny.”

And who knows, it may not be long before we see both the Askew sisters performing together in a blockbuster!
