In the 100 years since the movement was founded, Lions Clubs International members have carried out more than one million acts of service worldwide, including projects on the environment, youth, sight, measles vaccination and clean water provision.

As part of the centennial year environmental drive, members from Edwinstowe and The Dukeries Lions assisted staff and members from Sam’s Workplace in Rainworth to plant 30 trees in Blidworth.
