Lindrick Players present their latest production The Emporium at the end of the month.

The light hearted comedy is set in a retail store, or ‘Emporium’ run by the formidable Ms Dressoir.

She is assisted by her family, because, quite frankly, no one else would work for her.

The Emporium embraces the work ethos ‘no matter what the problem, our happy smiling staff are always here to blame the customer’

All is well, until there is a break-in and a young PC Bromley is called in to investigate.

Then romance and chaos engulfs Ms Dressoir’s world and the staff and customers begin to revolt.

What is the dark secret surrounding the store’s head office in Zimbabwe?

This comedy is full of disgruntled customers, poorly trained staff, a police constable who seems happier writing poetry than catching criminals and not forgetting South African Diamonds...

Perfomances are to take place at the Carlton Civic Centre, off Long Lane, in Carlton- on Wednesday 22nd, Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th May 2013.

Doors open at 7pm. All performances will begin at 7.30pm.
