Lincs: Wear a Santa suit to work for the day in aid of children’s hospice

Business and schools are being asked to get into the Christmas spirit and help raised funds for St Andrew’s Children’s Hospice.

The hospice are looking for fun people who would like to bring some festive cheer to their workplace; and, at the same time bring some festive cheer to the children and young people who use the services of the Hospice, by taking part in Wear Your Santa Suit to Work Day on Friday 12th December.

Hospice Events Co-ordinator, Angela Greenfield, said: “This event is open to anyone, so why not encourage your work place, club or group to take part?”

“If you are a student or not working, then you can still join in.”

“Wear your Santa Suit to school/college, put it on to pop to the shops, take the kids to school, meet friends for lunch; or wear on your Friday night out on the town.”

“We would love to see the streets and workplaces across Lincolnshire covered in Santas.”

Registration for the event is £10 and you will receive your Santa suit and fundraising pack.

There is no minimum sponsorship, just raise as much as you can by dressing up for the day.

Child sized suits are available for any children who would like to take part and registration for children is just £5.

St Andrew’s Children’s Hospice provides care for children and young adults, up to 25-years-old and is the only children’s hospice in Lincolnshire and the families who use the services at the hospice come from across the whole of the county.
