Lincs: Discover your favourite tearoom on the Teapot Trail

The Teapot Trail has returned to North Lincolnshire and the council is encouraging people to visit as many tearooms as possible on the trail.

As part of the trail the tearooms will battle it out to be crowned the winner of the Great North Lincolnshire Cake Off 2015. Cast your vote and you could be in with a chance of winning afternoon tea for two.

There are 12 tearooms to visit on the trail including Mount Pleasant Windmill in North Cliff Road, Kirton-in-Lindsey and The Terrace Bistro and Tea Room at Fair Garden Plant Centre in Cleatham Road, Kirton-in-Lindsey.

Each of the tearooms will be offering a special Teapot Trail cake for you to try. Don’t worry though if you want to try something else, you can vote for any of the cakes to be entered into the competition.

All 12 tearooms taking part in the trail can be found at www.visitnorthlincolnshire.co.uk.

Margaret Price, Senior Tourism and Event Management Officer at North Lincolnshire Council, said: We have some wonderful tearooms in North Lincolnshire and the Trail is a great way of highlighting these.”
