Leading artist's sculptures take centre stage at The Harley Gallery
Sculpture is taking centre stage at The Harley Gallery with leading artist Sarah Danays showcasing her latest creation, 'Arms of the Portland Vase'.
The Portland Vase, on exhibition at the Welbeck-based gallery as part of The Portland Collection, is the finest complete example of Roman cameo glass.
Los Angeles based sculptor Sarah has carved with hand tools two stone arms inspired by The Portland Vase, which explores gesturual interaction between six human figures.
The sculpture is on display at the gallery, with free entry, until July 18.
