Lea: School children visited by RAF corporal
Lea Frances Olive Anderson Primary School was visited by Corporal Alan Robinson from RAF Waddington who is involved in the Flying for Freedom project.
The project involves eight injured serviceman flying micro light aircraft to the South Pole to raise awareness of the issues surrounding injured servicemen and their transition back into everyday life.
Corporal Robinson talked to the children about the project, due to launch in December 2014, and outlined some of the challenges involved. To follow the team visit www.flyingforfreedom.org.
