Langold: Celebrations underway as summer fair raises £615 for church refurbishment
St Luke’s Church in Langold are celebrating after raising £615 towards a full refurbishment of the church during their summer fair.
The event took place at St Luke’s on Saturday 21st July.
The money raised will go towards a new carpet for the church, and it is hoped that the church will undergo a total makeover in the coming months- including the installation of a new kitchen and new disabled toilet.
Carol Bower, organiser, said: “It was great day and we are very pleased to have raised so much towards this fantastic project. We would like to thank everyone who came along and donated, including members of Hodsock Parish Council.”
