At around 4.38pm a blue Peugeot 206 was travelling south on the A60 Worksop Road from Tickhill towards Oldcotes.

Another car, a grey Citroen Picasso was travelling in the opposite direction.

It is thought a black hatchback car overtook the Picasso and pulled back onto the correct side of the road.

The actions of the hatchback are believed to have caused the Peugeot to lose control and go across the road into the path of the Picasso.
