Kiveton: Witnesses sought after pensioner seriously injured in collision


Witnesses are wanted to a collision in Rotherham in which an elderly pedestrian suffered serious injuries.

The 80-year-old woman was in the car park of Kiveton Library in Wales Road, walking with a mobility aid, when she was in collision with a silver Volkswagen Golf driven by a 42-year-old man from Bramley.

At the time of the collision, which occurred at 12.30pm on Thursday 17th October, it was not thought that the pensioner had suffered serious injuries.

However, her condition has since deteriorated.

Witnesses should call South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 994 of 2nd December 2013.
