More than 12,000 real ale enthusiasts visited the four day event at the Magna Science Centre.

Toseland took to the stage during the final day, entertaining the audience including his wife Katie Melua.

Organiser Steve Burns said: “We invited James to help us to judge the champion beer of Yorkshire last year, and after agreeing to take part in the competition, he asked us whether his band could perform at this year’s event.”

Proceeds from the festival will go to Rotherham Hospice, Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity and the Magna Educational Trust.
