Kiveton and Wales: Local Plan drop-in consultation event today

Kiveton and Wales residents will be able to view Rotherham’s draft Local Plan for development at a drop-in session today (Tuesday 18th June).

It is your chance to speak to the people who have drafted the document and find out where thousands of houses and acres of employment land could be created over the next 15 years.

Rotherham Council is in the middle of a 10 week consultation to ask for feedback on the draft plan.

A dozen drop-in sessions are scheduled across the borough to allow people to see the maps up close.

Planning officers and other representatives from the authority will be available to answer questions.

Drop in at Kiveton Park and Wales Village Hall from 2.30pm - 6.30pm today.

The final drop-in session in the Dinnington area is:

- Thursday 20th June, Dinnington Resource Centre from 2.30pm - 6.30pm.

Dinnington Town Council will hold its own consultation drop-in events.

A sites and policies display will run at The Lyric Theatre on Laughton Road today Tuesday 18th June 12 noon - 4pm and tomorrow Wednesday 19th June 10am - 12 noon.
