Kirton-in-Lindsey: Take to the skies with gliding club open day
Trent Valley Gliding Club is holding an open day on Sunday, 13th July at the airfield just to the south of Kirton-in-Lindsey.
The club is inviting anyone from near or far, local or visitor, to come down to the airfield and try the sport of gliding.
On the day visitors will be able to fly one of the club’s two-seat training gliders and experience the thrills of soaring above the Lincolnshire countryside.
There will also be a flypast by a selection go World War II planes, including the Spitfire.
