Join the First Responders
AS THE NEW YEAR kicks off, the Community First Responder scheme that operates in Misterton and surrounding villages is on the look out for more volunteers to be in trained in life-saving.
CFR volunteers help to save lives in their local communities by providing life-saving care prior to the arrival of ambulances. The Five Villages First Responder scheme which operates in Misterton, West Stockwith, Beckingham, Walkeringham, Gringley on the Hill and surrounding areas has been in operation since 2004 and has attended over 1,400 emergency calls in that time.
