JOBS BOOST: Poundworld to open new store at Celtic Point next month

Thirty new jobs to be created at Poundworld at Celtic Point

The 4,000 sqft store will be located at Celtic Point next to ASDA.

Poundworld currently has a store on Bridge Street in Worksop and Celtic Point will be the retailer’s second store to open in the town.

The official opening date has not yet been announced.

Store manager, Paula Price, said: “We’re delighted to announce our opening at Celtic Point. The store is in a busy neighbourhood location and so we’re hoping we’ll be able to help local residents save more on their favourite brands and everyday essentials.

“We hope to announce the official opening date very soon.”

The family-run British company originally started on a Wakefield market stall.
