A MAN and a woman were taken to hospital last night (Saturday) after their cars collided on the A620 at Clarborough Hill.

Emergency services were called at around 6.50pm where they found a beige Land Rover had been involved in a collision with a silver Mini.

The driver of the Land Rover, a 32-year-old man, was out of the vehicle.

Fire crews from Retford used cutting equipment to release the Mini driver, a 64-year-old woman, from her car.

She was taken to Lincoln County Hospital by ambulance with suspected chest injuries. The male driver was also taken to hospital but his injuries were less serious.

There were passengers in each car, but no one else is believed to be injured.

A Notts Police spokesman said no one had been charged over the collision, but investigations are ongoing.
