In court for assault and threatening
A WORKSOP man appeared in court for assault and harassing witnesses after an altercation in the town centre.
Shaun Warwick Day, 45, from Watson Road, admitted assaulting a security guard in Worksop on 15th November 2011, and then harassing him on 27th January.
Defending, Mr Ratcliffe said that Warwick was approached by the security guard who he was familiar with, before ‘banter got well out of control’.
On 27th January, Warwick is alleged to have shouted threats at the guard across the canal.
Warwick also stands accused of four thefts. All matters have been adjourned until 14th March.
