Most patients lack basic medicine cabinet supplies and knowledge to treat minor illnesses a survey of GPs has revealed.
The study of over 100 doctors showed over 97 per cent believed patients could take more responsibility for their own health, while 90 per cent thought patients had a poorly stocked medicine cabinet.
